It took about 3 hours and a few kid friendly distractions to write the instructions for this free quilt pattern today. It looks more complicated than it really is. It is made up of 6 1/2 x 12 1/2 inch blocks and 12 1/2 inch blocks. If you can sew squares and rectangles you can make this quilt. If you have any questions please email me@ holly@fabricmom.com.
Just wanted to note that the fabric requirements are 3 yards of the beige and 4 of the red. This is a little over estimated for error.

Tina here is one just for you. 🙂
Holly, this is a super cool quilt!I can totally see it in jewel tones with black!
Thank you so much for the pattern. I’m going to try to do it in yellow and purple since that is my sister-in-law’s favorite colors. May even try one in blue and white for my nephew.
Your work is lovely as usual. Your quilting friends are lucky to have you share and maked patterns for them to try.

Holly,
Tina says look Grandma, Holly made it just for me (The Bright Stripes). She loves the colors.

The black background with all the lovely colors is the one Christina wants.
