Yesterday while Andrew took a nap I was able to make some Halloween fabric postcards to mail out for this month.
This one shows some free motion quilting I did to give it a little more pizazz.
This bat I ironed on. It looked a little blah so I decided to try a little free motion quilting on it too. I like the craziness of the outline on the bat. I still have to finish the edges on all of these with a satin stitch.
I have not looked for a couple days and here you are posting tons of great pictures! LOL. The postcards are adorable, the free motion quilting does add pizzaz. I have not tried it. Your double Irish Chain is beautiful; I really think it is my favorite quilt pattern. It is simple yet astoundingly beautiful. Have a great day!
PS. Glad everyone is feeling better again!
I think I’ll try one. You have inspired me, thanks for posting them
Holly those are just adorable!!
I was clicking thru the links in my allpeoplequilt newsletter and checked out the share your photos page – I saw a bright pinwheel quilt, said “I wonder….” and hovered over it .. it said holly with a bunch of numbers – congrats!!!!

Holly! those are so cute! I hope one is coming to me!
I made my fpc’s too but I need to buy that stuff you put in between the fabrics to make them stiff. Haven’t had time to shop for it lately. Next month….
Your Halloween cards are so cute!
Millie
These Halloween postcards are toooooo cute.
Yesterday, Carissa asked me if she could take the postcard you sent me to show her art teacher. Carissa has done some nice projects. One of her pics took 1st place at the Hemlock fair. I have 2 pics (watercolor) that she did recently that I am going to have framed for her. I’ll send via the photo gallery. Love Gram
