Sewing Away…

I have been fortunate enough to be able to find time to sew over the last week. I have made quite a few items. Here is a burp cloth to match the bibs I made for Brandy.

This is a skirt I made for Emily. I was supposed to have it done before school started. But late is better than not at all.

I made this table runner a while ago and never got around to sandwiching it. I quilted it and now it is waiting for its binding.

DSC07991This is the back. I used red thread on the back too. I think it looks pretty nice against the black and white fabric.

I also made a baby quilt for my blog friend Melzie. I’m  not going to show a picture until I know she has it. I am mailing it out this week.

  1. aww I am feelin the love 😉 I just saw this style of burp cloths on Etsy this week, So do you buy the white part and then embellish with regular cotton? I’ve been doing flannel rectangles and serging them, I need to share a pic! xoxo mel

  2. I love making burp cloth and receiving blanket sets as baby gifts. I drafted a pattern and use terry cloth with a coordinating fabric for the burp cloth. Nice job.

  3. i just made a bunch of burpees…they are too much fun…put embroidery designs on them and found coordinating fabric…saw..having a great grandson in Jan..can hardly wait…fixing to make some sprinkler covers…too cute
