I stitched out this shirt for Andrew last night. They are having an Easter party tomorrow at preschool. I love the chocolate bunny with raggy ears and a tail. The brown fabric has letters on it. The bunny applique design is from Applique Alley.
I also stitched out this cross for a mug rug. I love the pink and black color combo. I am thinking of making a mini log cabin block to go with it in pink and black.The cross was designed by Applique Momma.
I made this table runner for a “Quilting Buddie”. I hope she likes it. It is an original design. Something I kind of just came up with. I used a green variegated thread for the leaf design in the border. I used a brown to quilt in the diagonal lines.
This fall wall hanging measures about 24 inches square. I bought the pumpkin fabric last fall and thought this was a good project for it. It was a larger print and I didn’t want to cut it up too small. I quilted it with a yellow and orange variegated thread in a meander pattern. I used a green variegated thread for the binding.
Yesterday was my friend Brandy’s baby shower. She is due next month and having a boy. Her son Moses and Joshua were in kindergarden together. They have become best buddies. I made her this quilt. A flannel receiving blanket, 2 bibs, and a burp cloth. I was going to make more burp clothes but ran out of time. I still might make some more.
I have been working on a baby quilt this week for a friend who is due next month. She is having a baby shower Sunday. I found the most adorable flannel monkey fabric and just had to get it. I was going to make this a disappearing nine patch quilt. Once I saw what one block would look like I had to change it. It was very busy. I hope she likes this. I am going to make a few bibs and burbs clothes to go with it.
