Look at the goodies I got in the mail this past weekend. I can’t wait to use these in projects. Especially the gray. It will look so good on some elephants. I have been waiting for the right fabric to make myself an Alabama shirt. More pictures to come.

Fat Quarter Friday Winner For 10/3/08
Congratulations Brenda @ The Quilt Journey. You won the Batik fat quarter. I will get this out to you today.
My Ever Growing Fabric Stash
I know I shouldn’t buy any fabric but who can resist a sale. I bought some fabric to make a quilt for my mom. I found the blue I was looking for but can’t find 3 yards of a cream blender that is in my price range. I also got a few 1/4 yard and 1/2 yard cuts for dirt cheap.
The first 3 prints are 1930’s. Which I can justify buying I am making a churn dash top with 30’s. The butterfly and cat material I have a weakness for.
I am collecting blues for the BOM I am in and for another star quilt I am working on. I also am trying to build up on browns and tans for another quilt I have in mind.
I got these two lovely blocks today in the mail from a swap partner. Aren’t they adorable. I love them. Thanks Linda B.
I got these lovely scrappy blocks from my swap partner Dee A in Arizona.

Fat Quarter Friday – Brown Scroll Cotton Fabric
It has been a day…
Man why are Mondays so unpleasant? Andrew didn’t fall asleep until 2am. We watched quite a bit of HGTV. This seems to be the norm. Atleast I got to watch Design Star at 12am. I usually miss it Sunday evening. He slept okay after that. Got up every 2 1/2 hours. Which is good for him. Saturday evening he was up every 1 to 1 1/2 hours. That extra hour makes the world of a difference.
Joshua is showing his butt today. He doesn’t want to listen. So he got sent to his room. Then he ended up getting grounded for throwing things and screaming at me. He came out to go to the bathroom. A few minutes later he comes out and tells me that the toilet is messed up. He unrolled the roll of toilet paper into the bowl and tried to flush it. Thanks Josh. Now I have an over flowing toilet. It took almost every towel in the house to dry up the floor. Thank God he didn’t go #2. Ugh.
So what else, may I ask is going to happen today?
Here are three blocks I have managed to make in the last two days. They are for swaps.
