Halloween Apron

I made this apron for a swap partner. It is the second reversible apron that I have made from scratch with no pattern. They are so easy to make. All you need is 5 inch squares, 1/2 of yard of fabric for the back and 10 inches of fabric for the tie strap.

Here is the back.

This is a hot pad out of kitty fabric.

Hot Pads and Apple Eating

I made two hot pads to go along with the pot holders for my sister in-law. They measure about 9 1/2 inches sqaures. I used 5 inch charms for the patchwork. These were super easy to make.

While Andrew was eating lunch today I got an apple and sat there with him. As soon as he saw me bite into it he wanted it. Tim let him eat off of his apple the other night. So he knows what you are supposed to do with it. So I gave it to him just to see what he would do. He actually got a few bites off of it. He had a lot of fun with it. I did too.

Here is a picture I took yesterday while he was playing with his activity table. I can hardly ever get one with his eyes open. The flash makes him blink.
