RW&B Steps

Last year I received an email from Cathy Habermann from Hands on Design asking if she could use the image from the True Blue Quilt Block and turn it into a counted canvas quilt square pattern. I said yes of course. It was an honor to be asked. Cathy came up with a beautiful design called RW&B Steps. The way she chose to stitch each square gave the finished design such wonderful dimension and the colors really pop.

Cathy creates delightful designs for counted canvas. You can go to her website Hands On Design to see some of her creations. Page 2 has the RW&B Steps picture. You can also follow Cathy through her blog and on her Facebook page.

It is a blessing from God to get to meet so many talented people through my love of quilts and sewing. Thank you again Cathy for contacting me.

Santa Rosa Quilt Guild BOM for July

Joyce Wood, a Co Chairperson for the Santa Rosa Quilt Guild in California contacted me a while back about using the True Blue quilt block pattern I designed for their July (BOM) block of the month. She is going to send me a picture of the winner with all of the blocks they won.

Needless to say I was flabbergasted and still am. It is an honor to be contacted by others who want to make quilts from the patterns I design. It is gratifying to know that other people read my blog and like the patterns. Hopefully soon I will have time to work on more free patterns.
